Elise Caplan

Prior to joining ACORE, Elise was an independent consultant with expertise in the wholesale electricity markets. Her two primary clients were the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Sustainable FERC Project (SFP) and the World Resources Institute (WRI). Until the end of 2020, Elise was the Director of Electric Markets Analysis for the American Public Power Association (APPA), the trade association representing the nation’s public power utilities.

Elise has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
