Toshi Akiyama

Toshi Akiyama began their career in 1985 as a Senior Account Executive at Recruit Inc., a top HR and Multi Media Company in Japan. Toshi left the company to pursue an MBA degree in the United States. In 1990, they joined Kamori International Corporation as COO/Assistant to Chairman, the largest resort holding company in Japan. Toshi started as a property manager and worked their way up. In 1998, they founded American DataBank Group, an industry leader in applicant screening and compliance management services. Toshi is a founding member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and their team is dedicated to developing innovative technology, delivering quality research, and providing friendly, personal service to their more than 3,000 clients.

Toshi Akiyama obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from Meiji University in 1985, followed by a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Real Estate and Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1991.
