Queenie Edwards

Queenie Edwards serves as the Associate Director of Development at the American Diabetes Association since July 2024. Prior experience includes managing Women's Board operations at the Ravinia Festival from March 2021 to June 2024, overseeing gala fundraisers, special events, and donor stewardship. Queenie also held roles at the Ravinia Festival as Coordinator for Auxiliary Boards and Development Intern focused on major gifts. Before transitioning to development, Queenie had an extensive orchestral performance background, serving as Section Violinist for the Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg and Stiftung Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and as Principal Second Violin for the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. Queenie earned a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Hochschule für Musik Freiburg and multiple degrees in Violin Performance from Indiana University Bloomington.
