Richard Jacobson

Richard Jacobson, JD has extensive work experience in the field of prospect research and development. Richard is the current Director of Prospect Management and Research at the American Diabetes Association, where they work remotely with the national fundraising team and provides research services to regional staff members. Prior to this, they served as the Prospect Research Manager at the Joslin Diabetes Center from 2016 to 2020. From 2012 to 2015, Richard worked as the Prospect Research and Management Officer in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at Lasell University. Richard also has experience as the Director of Development Research at Combined Jewish Philanthropies from 2010 to 2011 and as the Director of Prospect Research at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from 2002 to 2010. Richard began their career at the MIT Sloan School of Management as the Associate Director for Research & Special Projects from 1998 to 2002 and at Boston University in the Office of Development & Alumni Relations from 1994 to 1998.

Richard Jacobson, JD earned their Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law in 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University in 1991.
