Stephanie Franco has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Stephanie is currently serving as the Vice President of Estate & Trust Administration and Planned Giving at the American Diabetes Association since 2016. In this role, they have significantly increased bequest revenue and developed effective communication strategies to engage with constituents and professional contacts. Prior to this, Stephanie held various positions at different organizations. Stephanie served as the Director of Planned Giving at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where they implemented a comprehensive plan to launch a formal planned giving program. Stephanie also worked at Russo & Burke, LLP as a part-time counsel, advising foundations and small nonprofits on management issues and estate planning techniques. Stephanie was also the Planned Giving Director at Weill Cornell Medical College, where they collaborated with different teams to secure planned gifts and supervised a planned giving officer. Stephanie's previous experience includes serving as the National Director of Planned Giving at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where they doubled estate revenue and implemented a successful national marketing plan. Stephanie began their career as the Director of Social Services & Admissions at Riverdale Nursing Home. Throughout their career, Stephanie has demonstrated expertise in estate and trust administration, planned giving, and donor engagement.

Stephanie Franco holds a Juris Doctor degree with a Certificate in Health Law from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in 1996 and their Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Iona University from 1991 to 1995. Stephanie also has additional certifications, including admissions to the New York State Bar Association and Connecticut Bar Association, as well as Franklin Covey Management Leadership Training and a Master Social Worker certification from the New York State Education Department.
