James Reif is the Chief Executive Officer of J Reif Consulting LLC, where the focus is on educating school personnel about effective responses to active shooter situations and threats. With a background that includes serving as a Football Referee for the American Athletic Conference and a Volunteer Baseball Coach at Penn State Brandywine, James Reif has extensive experience in leadership roles, notably as Captain, Lieutenant, and Sergeant with the Upper Darby Township Police Department over a 32-year career. Previous experience includes working as a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service and serving in the US Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class aboard the USS Luce. James Reif holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Administration from Neumann University and an Associate's degree in Emergency Planning and Management from Delaware County Community College, along with completion of the NJSACOP Command and Leadership Academy.
