Giovanni Ajassa

Giovanni Ajassa has extensive experience in economic research and academic roles, with a career spanning several decades. Current involvement as an Associate at the American Economic Association began in 1985. Giovanni held the position of Head of Economic Research at BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas from January 1987 until September 2021 and served as Director at ASSBB from 2004 to September 2021. Additional roles included Directorship at the Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana and as an Editorial Commentator for GEDI Gruppo Editoriale. Giovanni was also a Director at COTEC and contributed to Nomisma in various capacities. Prior to this, Giovanni was a lecturer at Luiss Guido Carli University. Giovanni's educational background includes a Laurea in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University and further studies at the University of Oxford.
