Kara Mountcastle

Kara Mountcastle has a diverse work experience. Kara started their career in 2011 as an Independent Contractor at Bull City Pet Sitting. In 2012, they worked as a Policy Intern at Business Executives for National Security, where they authored a white paper and conducted research on economic development programs. In 2013, they served as a Research Associate at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, conducting research and compiling data for an online platform. Kara also participated in the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College, where they gained knowledge in various business concepts. From 2014 to 2016, Kara worked as a Project/Program Management Consultant at NTT DATA Consulting, Inc., providing project management support for different initiatives. In 2016, they worked as a Field Organizer at the North Carolina Democratic Party. Currently, Kara is employed at American Efficient, where they started as an Operations Analyst in 2017. Kara has since been promoted to Program Manager, Senior Manager of Programs, and now serves as the Director of Program Operations.

Kara Mountcastle completed their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and International Studies from Davidson College. Kara attended Davidson College from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned their high school diploma from Charles E Jordan High School, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Kara also obtained a certification from the Tuck Business Bridge Program in June 2013.
