Eric Lazear

Eric Lazear has a diverse and extensive work experience in the elevator industry. Eric is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at American Elevator Group, where they have been since November 2022. Before their current role, they worked as the Vice President at American Elevator Group from January 2022 to November 2022.

Prior to their current position, Eric held the position of Vice President at GAL Manufacturing Company LLC from August 2018 to January 2022.

From 2010 to 2018, Eric Lazear worked at Draka Elevator as the Director of Sales / Americas. Eric was responsible for sales, marketing, and customer service activities in North and South America.

Before Draka Elevator, Eric worked at McBride Electric, Inc. as the Vice President, Sales & Marketing from February 2009 to August 2010. Eric played a key role in launching the company's successful Solar Division and successfully executed large-scale solar projects.

From August 2003 to February 2009, Eric served as the Managing Director / General Manager at Otis Elevator Co., where they had full-line profit and loss responsibility for a $100M Western USA region of the company's independent subsidiary business unit.

Eric Lazear's earlier experience includes being the Division President at Amtech Elevator Services from 1989 to 2003. Eric led the growth of the organization to over $120M in annual sales and redefined it as the nation's leading independent elevator service contractor.

Prior to their role as Division President, Eric held various positions at Amtech Reliable Elevator Co. from 1989 to 1997, including Senior Vice President, Branch Manager/LA, and Installation Manager.

At the start of their career, Eric worked for US Elevator from September 1979 to June 1989, where they held positions in engineering, estimating, branch sales, and management in several cities.

Eric Lazear completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from San Diego State University, which they attended from 1976 to 1979. Eric then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Management from Portland State University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985.
