Elizabeth Clements (Hinman)

Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives at Endocrine Society

Elizabeth (Hinman) Clements has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Elizabeth began their career as a Research Associate at Hager Associates in 2007 and later worked as a Legislative Assistant at Norfolk Southern from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they interned at Lake Research Partners before joining the American Lung Association as a National Policy & Advocacy Intern in 2011. Elizabeth then worked as an Associate at Global Policy Solutions until 2013 when they transitioned to the Council of Chief State School Officers. At the Council, Elizabeth held various roles including Associate, Senior Program Associate, Senior Associate, Interim Director of Partner Relations, and Manager of Strategy and Operations. In 2019, they joined the Endocrine Society and has since held the positions of Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Elizabeth (Hinman) Clements completed their undergraduate studies at William & Mary from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Government and Economics.

After a brief break, Elizabeth continued their education by pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree from American University. Elizabeth attended American University from 2009 to 2011, specializing in Social Policy and Applied Politics.

Furthermore, Elizabeth attained a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
