Kaushik Bhattacharjee

Kaushik Bhattacharjee has a diverse work experience in the field of energy management and consulting. Kaushik started their career as a Research Associate at Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI) in 1997 and worked there until 2003. Kaushik then joined REIPOWER as a Principal, where they conducted energy audits and feasibility studies for various buildings and manufacturing facilities. In 2012, they joined Enersource Corporation as an Energy Conservation Specialist, where they supported industrial customers in their pursuit of energy savings. Additionally, they worked at Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited as a Project Consultant from 2014 to 2019. During this time, they provided support to several large customers for the "SaveONenergy" incentive programs. In 2012, they also took on roles at the Association of Energy Engineers, initially serving as the Assistant Director of International Membership Development for Canada Region and later becoming the Regional Vice President for Canada. Currently, they are working at Reipower Inc as a Principal, providing energy management consulting services for commercial and industrial clients, including energy audits, incentive support, and energy monitoring. Kaushik is also involved in developing an AI platform for energy management in collaboration with AI partners, academic institutions, funding agencies, and innovation centers.

Kaushik Bhattacharjee holds a Master's degree in Energy Management from the New York Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2018. Prior to that, they attended Assam Jobs and Assam Engineering College (AEC), where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from 1990 to 1995. Kaushik also has additional certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers, including the title of "Fellow" obtained in October 2021, as well as certifications as a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional.
