Mike Hultgren

Mike Hultgren has over 32 years of professional geology experience. Mike has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Starting in 1986, they worked as an Exploration Geologist at LAC Minerals, specializing in geology and software systems. From 1991 to 1993, they were an Assistant Project Manager at Twin City Testing. Mike then joined Enviroscience as a Project Manager from 1993 to 1997, where they managed various projects involving site assessments and investigation/cleanup. At Pinnacle Engineering, they served as the Manager of Environmental Services from 1997 to 2008, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing key clients and projects. Mike then moved to Cardno ATC as the Environmental Due Diligence Manager from 2008 to 2013, where they managed due diligence projects and provided oversight of staff and project work. In 2013, they joined Westwood Professional Services as a Senior Project Manager, specializing in environmental permitting. Since 2013, they have been working at American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET), where they started as a Senior Geologist and later became a Senior Geologist/Supervisor and Principal Geologist/Supervisor. In their current role, they manage environmental projects, investigates and remediates chemical releases, and provides client management and business development services.

Mike Hultgren holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from The University of New Mexico, which they obtained from 1983 to 1986. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University, from 1978 to 1982.
