Director Center On Housing Risk at American Enterprise Institute

Edward Pinto has an extensive work experience in the housing sector. Edward worked at the American Enterprise Institute from 2010 to 2021, where they held the positions of Director-Center on Housing Risk and Resident Fellow. Prior to that, they were a self-employed consultant and served as the Principal since 1989. Edward also worked at Fannie Mae as the Executive vice president-chief credit officer from 1987 to 1989, and at MGIC as a Senior Legal Counsel from 1982 to 1984.

Edward Pinto obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1967 to 1971. Edward then pursued further education at Indiana University Bloomington, receiving a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Law from 1971 to 1974.
