Macy Heath-Lemon

Macy Heath-Lemon has a strong background in government relations and communications. Macy started their career as an intern for Senator Cory Gardner in 2016. Macy then worked as a legislative assistant for the Kansas House of Representatives in 2017, where they were responsible for researching legislation and developing bills.

In 2018, Macy joined the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) as a government relations intern. Macy quickly progressed through various roles, including government relations assistant, government relations associate, and government relations manager, where they collaborated with senior staff to implement outreach strategies and manage databases. Macy also organized events on Capitol Hill and produced marketing materials.

In 2021, Macy became a government relations manager and state outreach coordinator at AEI. Macy then moved on to become an assistant director before being promoted to deputy director in 2023. In these roles, they focused on domestic policy and state outreach, using their expertise to advance AEI's research and policy plans at the federal, state, and administration levels.
