Rebecca Young

Rebecca Young has extensive work experience in various financial institutions. Rebecca recently joined American Equity as their Head of Internal Controls in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Wells Fargo for seven years, where they held the positions of Audit Director and Vice President, Senior Audit Manager. Before joining Wells Fargo, Rebecca worked at Transamerica as a Controller for two years. Rebecca started their career at Ernst & Young and served as a Senior Manager for twelve years. Overall, Rebecca has a strong background in finance, with a focus on internal controls and auditing.

Rebecca Young obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
