Fran Sorrell

Fran Sorrell has over twenty years of experience in the field of compliance. Fran began their career at American Esoteric Laboratories in 2001, where they served as the Mid-South Division Associate Director of AR. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring all billing departments across the division and consolidating multiple billing systems into one central billing system. Fran also maintained financial goals set by company standards and oversaw the hiring, firing, and evaluation of employees.

In 2007, Fran left American Esoteric Laboratories to become the AR Manager at Memphis Pathology Lab. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the lab's billing department and ensuring that all invoices were accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Fran also worked with insurance companies to ensure that patients received the maximum reimbursement for their services.

In 2011, Fran returned to American Esoteric Laboratories, where they now serves as the Director of Compliance. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all state and federal regulations. Fran also oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company operates in an ethical and compliant manner.

Fran Sorrell earned a BS in Medical Technology from Jackson State Comm College and a Business Administration degree from The University of Memphis. Fran is certified in healthcare compliance by the Compliance Certification Board.
