Jessica Bartlett

Jessica Bartlett is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in financial crime compliance and legal advisory. Currently serving as VP & Chief Counsel for Global Financial Crimes at American Express, Jessica previously held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Crime Legal at Barclays from January 2018 to April 2025. Additionally, Jessica contributed to the governance of AmCham HK as a member of the Board of Governors from January 2020 to December 2021. Earlier career roles include litigation associate positions at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Shearman & Sterling LLP. Jessica Bartlett earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Brandeis University.
