Prasad Kanvinde

Prasad Kanvinde is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technical management and architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at American Express since November 2015, Prasad leads a team focused on modernizing the Enterprise Service Platform, delivering high-performance APIs and microservices, and fostering an innovative engineering culture. Previous roles at American Express include Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Lead Software Engineer, where Prasad provided technical leadership in credit and collections modernization efforts. Prior to that, Prasad worked at PayPal as a Technical Architect and held various positions at American Express with TCS from Information Technology Analyst to Senior System Architect. Prasad holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
