Erica M. Laughlin

Erica M. Laughlin, MBA, MS, MA, has extensive experience in leadership, professional development, and educational training across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Leadership & Professional Development at American Family Insurance since June 2017, Erica leads a team to align learning strategies with enterprise goals. Previous roles include Talent Development Manager for Enterprise IT, where Erica supported the development of over 2,000 IT employees, and Senior RPA & Technology Analyst, delivering significant cost savings through automation. Prior to joining American Family Insurance, Erica held positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including Director IT Academy, and at the University of Minnesota as Director of the Faculty Center for Learning & Teaching. Erica holds an MBA in HR Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and an MS in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in French and English.
