Erik Dacosta

Erik DaCosta is a seasoned software engineer with substantial experience in developing and enhancing enterprise solutions. Currently serving as a Sr. Software Engineer at American Family Insurance since January 2022, Erik focuses on the ECM team, working with JAVA, HTML, and JavaScript Polymer for the Hyland Nuxeo platform. Prior to this role, Erik held various positions at The General®, including Software Engineer, where responsibilities included designing automated systems and integrating tools with existing infrastructures. Earlier career experiences include roles at Conexess Group, Alfa Insurance, and Asurion, where Erik demonstrated proficiency in C#, VB .NET, SQL development, and performance engineering. Erik earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida in 2008.
