Makram Elie Maouad

Makram Elie Maouad is an accomplished investment performance and risk analyst with extensive experience in asset management and risk analytics. Currently serving as the Investment Performance & Risk Analyst Lead at American Family Insurance since October 2020, Maouad has spearheaded the implementation of investment performance projects, developed risk reporting frameworks, and built analytical databases. Previously, at Invesco Ltd., Maouad managed global enterprise projects and led a team of developers and analysts, while also overseeing a significant portfolio optimization project. At OppenheimerFunds, Maouad directed performance attribution initiatives and integrated various financial instruments into analytical platforms. Earlier roles include risk analysis at Aflac Global Investments and lead financial engineering at Algorithmics, where Maouad designed customized risk solutions for clients. Educational background includes a Master’s in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University, an MSc from emlyon business school, and an Engineer’s Degree from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
