Matthew Mayrl

Matthew Mayrl serves as the Vice President of Strategy Performance & Partnerships at American Family Insurance since July 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held several key positions, including Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from November 2015 to August 2022 and Deputy CIO & Director of Citywide Analytics Team for the City of Boston from November 2010 to November 2015, where responsibilities included improving technology applications and launching data partnerships. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles as Policy Director at Apollo Alliance and Special Projects Advisor in Boston's Office of Administration & Finance. Educational credentials include a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
