A computer scientist by training, CJ pops the hood on startups promoting revolutionary new software solutions and can discern which tech is a palpable moat and which tech isn’t. He rejoined AFV after serving as principal at a firm specialized in supply chain and manufacturing startups; in other words, CJ has the chops to credibly interrogate startups of all different shapes and sizes. His prowess at dissecting term sheets and building world-class financial models, that’s just icing on the cake. Whenever someone asks to connect with the smartest person in the room, they turn and gesture toward the guy from Milwaukee. At AFV, that person’s name is CJ.
