Sara Kelemen

Sara Kelemen currently serves as a Climate Adaptation and Mitigation in Agriculture ORISE Fellow at the USDA Northeast Climate Hub, while also holding the position of Project Coordinator at the same organization since September 2022. Kelemen's prior experiences include working as a Masters Candidate at the University of Maine from July 2020 to November 2022, where research efforts involved creating an equity assessment framework for Maine's Climate Action Plan. Additional roles include Director of Educational Programs at Noyo Food Forest from 2018 to August 2019, Watershed Restoration Specialist at Reed College from 2014 to 2017, and National Crew Leader at the Student Conservation Association in 2015. Kelemen holds a Master of Science in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Maine and a bachelor's degree from Reed College.
