Valerie Thompson

Valerie Thompson, MBA, PMP, CSM, SPC, serves as the Project Management Practice Area Leader and Sr Principal Consultant at Sparq since January 2019, focusing on positioning the Scrum Master and Project Management product offerings while analyzing competitive strategies. Prior to this role, Valerie held the position of Delivery Manager for Digital Technology at Sonic Drive-In from July 2011 to February 2019, where responsibilities included collaborating with stakeholders and coordinating teams to achieve high-quality outcomes. Previous experience includes roles as a Business Analyst at Funds For Learning, LLC, Project Manager at PPOk and OGE Energy Corp., and Project Manager for Software Development at Cicada Corp. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University and an MBA in Organizational Development from Oklahoma Christian University.
