Brittney Northrop has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brittney started their career at Regis Corporation as a Stylist/Salon Manager, where they were responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, cutting and styling hair, and providing beauty treatment recommendations. Brittney then worked at D'Amico and Sons as a Server, where they assisted with food preparation and maintained cleanliness in the kitchen.

Brittney's experience at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota involved being a Lead Direct Support Staff member, where they assisted individuals with daily living activities and maintained records of their care. Brittney also worked as a Customer Service Agent at Worldwide Flight Services, where they provided assistance to passengers with purchasing tickets, checking-in, and verifying identification.

At Midwest Fence & Gate Company, Brittney worked as an Office Assistant/Receptionist, handling phone calls, greeting customers, and distributing communications. Brittney'smost recent experience was with American Fire Protection Group, Inc., where they held two roles. As a Monitoring Operations Leader, they managed fire and life safety monitoring accounts, including accounts receivable and contract negotiations. In their role as an Inspection Contract Leader, they set up new inspection contracts and updated STD guides based on previous year inspection data.

Throughout their career, Brittney has demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Brittney Northrop pursued their education starting in 2006 at La'​ James International College Iowa City. Brittney'sfield of study at this institution was Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General, although it is unknown whether they obtained a degree. Later, in 2015, they attended Century College and completed an Associate's Degree in Pre-Nursing Studies by 2018.
