Tim Black has extensive work experience in the food industry, with a focus on strategy, finance, pricing, and analysis. Tim started their career at IBP INC as an Operations Accounting Manager and Production Accounting Manager. Tim then joined Tyson Foods as a Division Controller III and later became the Director of Pricing, Quantitative Analysis for the Tyson Food Service Business Unit. Tim then worked as the Group Controller II for Tyson Fresh Meats, where they led accounting functions and implemented profit-building strategies. Tim was later promoted to Director of Finance for the Food Service Prepared Foods division, where they provided financial and business leadership. Most recently, Tim joined American Foods Group as the Vice President of Strategy and Business Analysis, where they oversee corporate strategy and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions.

Tim Black attended Northwest Missouri State University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. Tim also holds additional certifications, including Certified Pricing Professional from the Professional Pricing Society, Continuous Improvement Certification (40 hours) from Tyson Foods, and Six Sigma Green Belt from NorthWest Arkansas Community College.
