Lindsay Murphy has over 19 years of experience in strategic communications and public relations. Lindsay is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategic Communications at the American Forest & Paper Association since November 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Executive Director of Strategic Communications at the same company from January 2019 to November 2021.
Before joining the American Forest & Paper Association, Lindsay worked at Racepoint Global as a Vice President from May 2013 to January 2019. Lindsay also served as a Senior Account Executive at DCI Group from September 2010 to May 2013.
Lindsay's previous experience includes working as the Public Affairs Manager at the North American Spine Society from February 2009 to September 2010 and as the Communications Manager at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons from January 2008 to February 2009.
Lindsay began their career as the Public Relations Manager at The Century Council from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, Lindsay held positions within the U.S. House of Representatives Congressman Mike Ross's office, serving as the Communications Director from 2004 to 2005 and as a Legislative Correspondent from 2002 to 2004.
Lindsay Murphy obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Arkansas in 2000. Lindsay then pursued further education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 2000 to 2003, majoring in Radio TV Film and Political Science. Later on, Lindsay Murphy completed their Master's degree in Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University between 2011 and 2013.
