Britta Dyer has extensive work experience in the environmental and forestry sector. Britta is currently the Vice President of Forest Restoration at American Forests, where they have held various roles since 2019. Prior to this, Britta worked at the COUNTY OF MADERA as the Chief of Staff, where they served as a liaison and provided strategic direction on complex policy decisions. Britta also worked at the Yosemite Sequoia RC&D Council as a Program Development Manager, overseeing staff, grant writing, and project management. Britta began their career as a Community Capacity Builder with AmeriCorps VISTA, focusing on natural resource development and community outreach. Throughout their career, Britta has demonstrated expertise in forest restoration, policy analysis, and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.

Britta Dyer's education history is as follows:

Britta obtained a Master of Science degree in Forest Ecosystems & Society from Oregon State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Graduate Certificate Degree in Sustainable Natural Resources from the same institution, completing the program from 2011 to 2016.

Before attending Oregon State University, Britta attended the University of North Florida from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Public Relations. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Britta attended Florida State College at Jacksonville from 2004 to 2006 and obtained an Associate of Arts degree in American Sign Language (ASL).

Britta's education journey began at West Potomac High School, where they earned their High School Diploma from 2000 to 2004.

Additionally, Britta has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include InnerMBA from MindfulNYU, Sounds True, and Wisdom 2.0, as well as a certificate from the California State Association of Counties in the Institution for Excellence in County Government. Britta has also completed training workshops such as Introduction to Grant Writing, Advance Mediation, Capacity Negotiation and Facilitation, and Non-profit Management Workshop, among others. Britta has a diverse educational background and has pursued continuous learning opportunities in various fields.
