Alexis O'Brien

Alexis O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alexis currently holds the position of Senior Communications Consultant, which they started in 2021. Prior to this, Alexis served as the Director of Public Relations at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, where they led various initiatives to combat suicide. Alexis also worked as an Account Supervisor at Palio+Ignite and as a Communications Consultant at The World Bank. Alexis has experience in media relations and public affairs, having worked as a Media Relations Officer at the Canadian Embassy in Washington DC and as an Account Executive at Porter Novelli. Additionally, they have held roles in the political arena, including Staff Assistant positions at the offices of Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barbara Mikulski. Throughout their career, Alexis has demonstrated their expertise in communications, crisis management, and advocacy.
