Judith Shenkman is the Executive Director of the Midwest Region at American Friends of The Hebrew University, a position held since October 2008, where Judith has successfully developed and implemented comprehensive campaign strategies to achieve organizational goals. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Gift Planning, Legacies & Endowment at Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, and Senior Endowment Development Manager at Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, where substantial fundraising successes and program expansions were achieved. Judith's background encompasses legal and financial expertise from positions at Plante Moran, Frank, Stefani, Haron & Hall, Comerica Bank, PwC, and Coopers & Lybrand, with a focus on estate planning, tax consultation, and wealth management. Judith holds a Doctor of Law degree from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Michigan.
