Mette Frost Bertelsen is an experienced professional in international development and humanitarian assistance, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Danish Red Cross since October 2013. Previous roles include Country Officer and Gender Focal Point at The World Bank in Hanoi from February 2010 to July 2013, and an independent consultant focusing on social consequences of climate change and capacity building for Bolivian NGOs between August 2007 and November 2009. Mette held the position of Junior Professional Officer at The World Bank from November 2004 to July 2007 and served as Monitoring, Analysis, and Information Advisor at ActionAid Denmark from March 2003 to October 2004. Mette holds a Master’s degree in International Development and Public Administration from Roskilde University, completed between 1995 and 2002.
