Ghery Sotomayor (Jerry)

Jerry Sotomayor has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in roles related to drilling fluids and completion fluids. Ghery (Jerry) started their career at Ecotono S.Coop.And. as a Manager of Environmental Services. Ghery (Jerry) then joined Baker Hughes, where they held various positions, including HSE Coordinator, Drilling Fluids Engineer, Marketing & Technical Support Specialist, and Market Research Manager. In these roles, they were involved in market analysis, strategic planning, and supporting product line managers. Jerry also worked as a Business Development Manager for Baker Hughes, where they were responsible for new product introduction, supply chain optimization, and managing key accounts. Ghery (Jerry) later became the Drilling Fluids Country Manager for Kuwait, overseeing a business unit with significant revenue growth and improvements in key performance indicators. Jerry's most recent role was as the Global Accounts Director for the American Gilsonite Company, where they managed key accounts and focused on account penetration, expansion, and profitability.

Ghery (Jerry) Sotomayor pursued their education by earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Studies from UTB between 1994 and 1998. Subsequently, they attended the University of Phoenix from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an MBA degree specializing in Global Management.
