Kristofer Rudd

Kristofer Rudd, CPA has a diverse work experience in financial management and analysis. Kristofer is currently the Chief Financial Officer at American Health Network since July 2023. Prior to that, from February 2021 to July 2023, they worked at Optum as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where they automated and improved budgeting and forecasting processes, developed financial modeling capabilities, and oversaw financial reporting for a value-based care entity.

Before joining Optum, from March 2018 to February 2021, Kristofer worked at Blue Cross of Idaho as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. In this role, they led the implementation of a budgeting system, managed budgeting processes, conducted investment analysis, and supported strategic planning. Kristofer also held the position of Sr. Budget Analyst at Blue Cross of Idaho from February 2017 to March 2018, where they were responsible for cost reduction reporting and budget analysis.

Prior to Blue Cross of Idaho, Kristofer worked at Boise Paper as an Accountant III from August 2015 to February 2017. Kristofer was responsible for month-end closing activities, general ledger maintenance, and the development of accounting and reporting processes for payroll.

Earlier in their career, from September 2014 to August 2015, Kristofer worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a Senior Lockheed Martin Financial Liaison. In this role, they managed a $28 million budget and handled financial reporting to Lockheed Martin. Kristofer also worked as a Senior Contract Auditor from July 2012 to September 2014, conducting audits of subcontracts and providing financial analysis. Prior to that, from June 2011 to July 2012, they were a Center Business Administrator, providing business support for national security projects.

Kristofer Rudd, CPA, completed their education at Brigham Young University. From 2005 to 2011, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting. Additionally, during the same period, they also obtained a minor in Information Systems. In January 2016, they obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Idaho State Board of Accountancy.
