Elizabeth Sinz

Elizabeth Sinz, MD, MEd, currently serves as the Associate Medical Director for the Critical Care & Trauma Institute at WVU Medicine, a position held since December 2023. As President of Sinz Healthcare Education Solutions, LLC since January 2016, Elizabeth has been instrumental in healthcare education. At PennState Hershey Medical Center, Elizabeth holds the roles of Associate Dean of Clinical Simulation and Professor, focusing on simulation-based programs, clinical care in anesthesiology and critical care medicine, and educating medical professionals. Elizabeth also contributes to the American Heart Association as a Senior Science Editor, developing educational resources related to Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Additionally, Elizabeth served as Past-President of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare from January to December 2008, and held an Associate Professor position at WVU from 1997 to 2004. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Education in Adult Education from Penn State Harrisburg, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from William & Mary.
