Glenn Dillon has a diverse work experience in research operations and leadership roles. Glenn served as the Vice President of Research Operations at the American Heart Association, overseeing their research portfolio. Before that, they were the Vice Provost for Health Institutes at UNT Health Science Center, where they led the development of interdisciplinary research institutes. Glenn also held the position of Vice President for HSC Research and Graduate Education at West Virginia University, where they were responsible for research growth and development across multiple schools and institutes. Additionally, they served as the Interim Director of the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute, where they facilitated clinical and translational research collaborations. Prior to these roles, they worked at the University of North Texas Health Science Center as the Vice President for Research, overseeing various research divisions. Early in their career, Glenn Dillon worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at CNS Diseases Research, The Upjohn Co.
Glenn Dillon completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Sciences at Missouri State University from 1983 to 1986. Glenn then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing it from 1987 to 1992.
