Jazmine Medrano, MPH, currently serves as the Community Impact Director for Health Equity at the American Heart Association since July 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Dekalb County FACS Agent at the University of Georgia Extension, where Jazmine implemented nutrition education programs and trained paraprofessionals, resulting in significant outreach to low-income communities. Previous roles also include a Graduate Research Assistant position at UTHealth, a Community Benefits Intern at Texas Children's Hospital, and a Community Outreach Coordinator for AmeriCorps VISTA, where Jazmine developed health programs and collaborated with community partners. Jazmine holds a Master of Public Health degree from UTHealth Houston and a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia.
