Patricia Otieno

Patricia Otieno is an experienced program coordinator currently working at the American Heart Association since June 2023. Previously, Patricia served as a program manager at Optum from October 2022 to April 2023 and as a facilities project coordinator at Inspire Medical Systems from July 2020 to October 2022. Additional experience includes roles as a COVID-19 investigator for the Minnesota Department of Health (2020-2021), a legal office assistant at Hennepin County (December 2019 - July 2020), and a front desk receptionist at the University of Missouri-Columbia’s Center for Academic Success and Excellence from October 2015 to May 2019. Patricia also completed an internship in strategic marketing for the Division of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Volunteer experience includes working at the Science Museum of Minnesota, where Patricia facilitated hands-on science learning for preschoolers. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a minor in Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
