Elisa Arespacochaga

Vice President, Clinical Affairs And Workforce at American Hospital Association

In 1995, Elisa Arespacochaga began their work experience at the American Hospital Association as an Administrative Assistant. Elisa then worked their way up, holding positions such as Staff Specialist, Senior Staff Specialist, Associate Director, and Director. In 2015, they joined the Institute for Diversity and Health Equity as an Interim President. However, they returned to the American Hospital Association in 2015 and held positions such as Senior Director and Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Workforce.

Elisa Arespacochaga holds a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Spanish Literature from Amherst College, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Elisa then pursued studies in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1993 to 1994. Later, Elisa earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. In 2018, they also obtained a certification in Valor Core from Valor Performance, Inc.
