Kristin Wintermute

Kristin Wintermute has a diverse work experience. Kristin started as an Outpatient Care Manager at CIGNA Behavioral Health in 1996 and stayed until 2000. Kristin then transitioned to The Humanist Institute in 1998 as the Executive Director, a role they held until 2017. In 2011, they became a Board Member at the American Humanist Association and held the position until 2017. Kristin also served as a Board Member at the UU Humanists from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are the Director of Education at the American Humanist Association, a position they have held since 2018.

Kristin Wintermute completed their Master of Social Work from the University of Maine from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they pursued Preprofessional Psychology at the University of Montana from 1984 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, Kristin obtained a Debits and Credits Certification from Accounting Coaches LLC in October 2022.
