Kayla Sandusky is an experienced Teaching Artist currently affiliated with multiple organizations, including the Lawrence Arts Center, Johnson County Park & Recreation District, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Coterie Theatre, and American Immersion Theater. Since January 2018, Sandusky has led various creative programs, including Summer Youth Theatre camps and storybook drama sessions, while also directing productions such as The Wizard of Oz. Recent roles include Teaching Artist at the Midwest Trust Center and What if Puppets, showcasing a commitment to arts education. Additionally, Sandusky's experience incorporates acting and technical roles in theater. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from The University of Kansas and a digital certification in mindfulness, SEL, and yoga teacher training from Breathe For Change.
