Benjamin Johnson

Benjamin Johnson has extensive experience in immigration advocacy, currently serving as the Executive Director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since January 2016. Prior to this role, Benjamin held the position of Executive Director at the American Immigration Council from February 2003 to January 2016, also serving as Director of Policy. Earlier in their career, Benjamin worked as the Deputy Director of Advocacy at the American Immigration Lawyers Association from November 1999 to January 2003. Benjamin holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, obtained between 1988 and 1991, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/History from San Diego State University, completed in 1988.
