Carl McKenney has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Carl started their career as a Certified Surgical Tech in the Labor & Delivery department at Memorial Healthcare System from 1994 to 1998. Carl then worked as the Chief Laser Technician / Coordinator at M.D.L.R. Inc. from 1998 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they served as the Florida Regional Manager at Lasers America.

In 2005, Carl joined American Ambulance Service as General Manager, where they managed a fleet of 45 ambulances and supervised 250 full-time employees until 2014. Carl then joined American In-Home Care, LLC as the Chief Executive Officer & Registry Administrator of the Advocate Home Care Division, where they provided executive-level direction and successfully led an acquisition.

From 2016 to 2018, Carl worked as the Managing Director at Falck, overseeing a $45M division in southeast Florida with six direct reports and 750 full-time employees. In 2019, they became the Director of Operations at Senior Nannies, accountable for managing multiple business units and implementing operational improvements.

Currently, Carl is the Chief Operating Officer at American In-Home Care, LLC. In this role, they lead operations management, clinical support, regulatory compliance, and information technology to drive organizational success and growth. Carl also serves as the company's liaison for addressing statutory and regulatory actions that impact the industry.

Carl McKenney received their Associate of Science degree in Emergency Medical Services from HCI College in 2019. In addition, they obtained certifications as an Emergency Medical Technician from the State of Florida in 2006, and as a Paramedic from the State of Florida in 2009.
