Gregory Scott

Speech-Language Pathologist at American Institute for Stuttering

A Midwest native, Gregory first came to AIS on a whim, as a grad student looking for a summer adventure (and clinical experience hours, of course!) in New York City. Little did he know that first internship, helping out with AIS’s immersion program, would change his life. He fell hard for the AIS approach, with its emphasis on radical self-acceptance, and returned to his grad program committed to learning all he could about stuttering. Upon graduating, he returned to AIS for a second internship—and then lingered around NYC for a whole year, helping facilitate the Institute’s weekly support groups for past clients. Today, he is thrilled to help expand AIS’s unique

approach to the Midwest—and to broaden accessibility worldwide by welcoming virtual clients from all over the globe. He lives and works in Minneapolis, MN.
