Susan Silva

Susan Silva has extensive experience in operational management and governance support across various organizations. Currently, as the Governance and Executive Operations Administrator at AIAA since December 2019, Susan oversees the administration of Board Directed Committees and executive nominations. Previous roles include Operations and Governance Manager at the American Medical Student Association, where responsibilities involved managing business procedures and event logistics, and Human Resources Assistant at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, providing support to HR operations. Additional experience includes roles in administrative support at Beaconfire RED, financial analysis at Allstate, and sales administration at Panasonic Avionics Corporation. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from George Mason University and is currently pursuing further education at Strayer University.
