Project Engineer - Active Water Treatment Team at American Institute of Chemical Engineers

Daman Seth is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC San Diego's Jacobs School of Engineering, focusing on reducing active material loss in Lithium Sulphur Batteries through various analytical and experimental techniques. Daman also holds a position as Project Engineer for the CHEM-E-CAR initiative at UC San Diego and serves as Project Engineer for the Active Water Treatment Team within AIChE, working on developing a mobile water treatment device. Previously, Daman interned at Mankind Pharma Ltd, assisting in the scale-up processes for the synthesis of Sitagliptin. Daman has also participated in the RIMSE Program in Materials Science and Engineering, collaborating with Dr. Michael Sailor on nanotechnology projects. Daman is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at UC San Diego, having completed a high school diploma with a focus on the same field.
