Amelia Jaycen

Amelia Jaycen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program and project management, as well as science writing. Currently serving as Program Manager at the Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy since May 2025, Amelia has held prominent roles at the American Institute of Physics as a Science Writer since August 2017 and at BlueSpace.ai as a Technical Proposal Writer for a brief period in late 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Manager for corporate systems at FINRA and leading significant government SaaS projects as a Program Manager at Mapware. At Mapware, Amelia also contributed to the Air Force's technology projects, managing various aspects from requirements gathering to contractor management. Previous writing roles include positions at Sea Technology magazine, Jefferson Lab, and xREZ Art + Science Lab, as well as freelance reporting in Arctic journalism. Amelia holds a Master's degree in Science Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Photojournalism, both from the University of North Texas.
