Joseph Liberko

Joseph Liberko, PhD, currently serves as a Science Writer I focusing on new products at Thorlabs since February 2024. Previously, Joseph completed a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in May 2023 with a thesis exploring light-matter interactions at the nanoscale. During tenure at the University, Joseph also worked as a Teaching Assistant, supervising over 400 students in various chemistry courses. Additional experience includes roles such as Assistant Manager and Team Member at Kirkland's and TJ Maxx, as well as extensive lifeguarding and management positions at Mount Vernon Pool and Lawrence University. Joseph's undergraduate studies culminated in a Bachelor of Arts in Physics with a minor in Mathematics at Lawrence University.
