Alison Filbey has a range of work experience in various organizations. Alison began their career as a Front Desk Associate at Burke Racquet & Swim Club in 2015 and worked there until 2017. In 2017, they interned as a Professional and Organizational Development Intern at Fairfax County Department of Family Services. The following year, they were a Research and Writing Intern at A Wider Circle. In 2019, Alison worked as a JPSM Junior Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. From 2016 to 2020, they held the position of Organization Consultant and Office Assistant at the Office of Student Involvement at Elon University. Currently, they are employed as a Quantitative Research Assistant at the American Institutes for Research and has been in that position since 2020.
Alison Filbey began their education at W.T. Woodson High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2012 to 2016. Alison then pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Analysis & Statistics at Elon University, graduating in 2020. In 2023, Alison enrolled at the University of Chicago to obtain their Master of Public Policy - MPP degree, which they completed in 2025.
