Brandy Farrar

Brandy Farrar serves as the Managing Director at the American Institutes for Research since January 2022 and also holds a position as a Professional Lecturer at The George Washington University-Milken Institute School of Public Health since January 2017. Previously, Brandy Farrar held various roles at IMPAQ International, including Managing Director, Principal Research Associate, and Senior Research Associate from July 2018 to November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at The Lewin Group and a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research. Additionally, Brandy Farrar worked at the UNC Institute on Aging as a Data Analyst/Graduate Research Assistant and gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University's Survey Research Unit and as a Social Research Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Brandy Farrar earned a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Sociology from North Carolina State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
